Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg won the 2025-26 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year award in one of the closest races in league history. He narrowly edged out former Duke teammate Kon Knueppel of the Charlotte Hornets, with VJ Edgecombe finishing third. Flagg, a Maine native, joins Jason Kidd and Luka Doncic as Mavericks ROTY winners.
