Zach Cregger, director of Weapons, unveiled the first teaser trailer for his Resident Evil reboot movie set during the Raccoon City outbreak. The film features a new protagonist surviving a zombie apocalypse in a snowbound survival horror tale inspired by the video game series. It is scheduled for theatrical release on September 18, 2026.
